JavaScript Job: React Engineer - California

Utilizes a network of thousands of independent technicians throughout the US that are hand-selected, vetted, and background-checked to provide a top-notch customer experience for a wide range of services, including computer support, smart home device installation, home office setup, and product sales.

You’ll help to build scalable, robust, solutions that provide a smooth customer experience. You’ll be responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of large-scale, multi-tier distributed software applications and tools.

1. 4+ years of full-time hands-on coding experience.

2. 3+ years of full-time hands-on work experience with React.

3. Upper-intermediate to fluent level of verbal English.

4. Passion for building top-notch software applications and tools.

5. CSS proficiency.

7. Unit testing experience with Jest or similar.

8. Customer experience mindset - great overall all understanding and knowledge of how the UI will be used.

9. Communication skills that establish trust - Proactive communication.

10. Experience working with other engineers within a team and across teams - team player, proactiveness, working directly with PM and the rest of the team.

11. Thrives in being an individual contributor, loves writing code and delivery focused.

12. Ability to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software as well as build new product features.

13. SDLC - test your code - deploy your stuff - know when refactoring when not to

14. Experience managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables - working with product on priorities, communicating and managing time effectively, getting stuff done on time, low maintenance, and self sufficient.

15. Ability to estimate features accurately.

Nice to have

1. Redux Toolkit experience.

2. Experience with end to end testing with Cypress or similar.

3. Next.js experience.

4. Proficiency and clear understanding of functional programming using Javascript, component composability.

5. Experience with performance optimizations.
